The Keurig for cocktails is finally here! Insert alcohol pod and push the button and out comes a cocktail. Just like the coffee counterpart, the Keurig for cocktails just adds chilled water to the alcohol and natural flavors in the pods. The 20+ cocktails they offer right now claim to have premium spirits, all natural ingredients, and real juices infused with natural flavors.
The Drinkmaker can cool the cocktail using what it calls Quick Cool KOLD® Technology and can add carbonation if it is required by the specific cocktail using a replaceable CO2 cartridge.
This sounds like a good idea if you don't enjoy mixing cocktails. Might be okay for a cocktail with a lot of ingredients, but it might be easier to make a gin & tonic or a Whiskey Cola the old fashioned way. Just don't forget the lime. Oh wait... Garnishes are not included in the pods, so you will have to go shopping anyway.
It looks like the cocktail pods will come in a 4 pack for about $16 or about $4 per drink.
