RoadID : First Look
Often times runners, cyclists, hikers, swimmers and other active people will train or exercise without carrying any form of identification. I know that personally I never carry ID when I go mountain biking. This is generally not a problem, until it is a problem… if you know what I mean.
What happens if I crash and become unconscious? I would not be able to give my name or my emergency contact numbers. Basically I would be nameless, injured and alone… Not good.
RoadID is the solution to the active persons identification problem. RoadID is wearable identification that can be worn on your wrist, ankle, shoe or around your neck.
Today we are going to look at the RoadID Sport Bracelet.
This wearable ID bracelet has a stainless steel tag that is laser engraved with your emergency contact information. The RoadID bracelet is available in 3 sizes, 6 colors and is sporty, durable and reflective. I think it is a must have item, just like a helmet is a must have for a mountain biker.
I will get my hands on one of these in the next couple weeks, so I can give it a whirl. I will provide a full review after I have strapped one on my wrist for a couple mountain bike rides.
