Today I have the Road ID to show you. This is identification that you can wear on your wrist. It is designed for people who run, cycle, hike, surf or do any active sport where they should be carrying ID, but usually don’t.

My wife always asks me when I leave for a mountain bike ride. “Do you have any ID on my in case something happens to you“. I never carry an ID with me because it will either get damaged, or I will forget about it and it will stay in my mountain bike bag for weeks.

The Road ID is a unique and innovative way for you to carry your ID. I had some friends ask me how I was going to test this product out? “Are you going to go out riding by yourself, crash and become unconscious or something?” they said. Well, here is the deal. I am only testing for comfort and durability and it is definitely durable and comfortable. It’s got a stainless steel laser engraved dog tag on it with my information on it. I have my name, city, state and emergency contacts with phone numbers on my tag. You can also add a motto or clever saying onto it if you want too.

The band made out of black nylon with reflective stitching. It’s actually available in 6 different colors and it felt sort of like wearing a lightweight watch.
