Are you tired of listening to the same bubblegum pop songs, with the same beats, over and over, spoon fed to you by Top 40 radio?  Broaden your music tastes via Ping, Apple’s social networking site for music sharing.  Upload the latest iTunes to gain access to Ping, which allows you to share music with your friends, through both the iTunes store and your own iTunes library. The interface is remarkably easy – list which songs you like or pick any song to play in your Ping stream, which also lists the activities of your Ping friends.  We all have a song or two that we like, which if our friends knew about, would get us disowned.  Thankfully Ping allows us to hide these songs as well. And if your entire music catalog is an embarrassment? Ping offers a no-follow option, where you can follow others’ ping streams, without being followed yourself.  Note: Ping can only be used in conjunction with iTunes.
