OrigAudio Speakers
The other day we went to the park to relax and test some cool new products. Once there, we realized we forgot to bring our boombox (nice 80’s reference for those of you who get it). Anyway, we thought, “Wow, we need to find something to listen to some tunes on, that is light weight and easy to carry”. After some looking we found Chicago-based OrigAudio who has come up with an ingenious solution: self-powered, 1-watt speakers made of heavy-duty recycled paper.
What is it
Just what it looks like, a speaker made out of recycled craft paper. Now you can rock out and feel good about your carbon footprint. If you are not sure what yours is check it out here. This can be used with any device that has a headphone jack – so go crazy. They also collapse for travel so you can take them anywhere with you.
What else
These would make a great gift since you can create custom artwork that can be printed on your speaker. You can choose between either a square or triangle shape which makes you wonder….do we have something else to thank King Tut for besides a lame 80’s song? Since they are self-powered (NO batteries or AC required) these really can be used anywhere.
