GoPro HD
A while back we featured the GoPro Hero helmet cam. Now GoPro has just released the latest and greatest in wearable digital video cameras. The new GoPro HD features award-winning, high def 1080p digital video camera and is still built specifically for action sports enthusiasts. Mount it on your helmet, body, car, motorcycle, or surfboard to capture and share the splashes, crashes and pure thrills of the ride. It’s waterproof and shockproof and it is priced at a ridiculously reasonable for a tiny HD video camera.

Thanks for the comment Douglas. While a Mac will sure make editing easier I am pretty sure the GoPro HD video can still be edited on a PC provided that you have the correct software. The Go Pro website says it is PC and Mac compatible.
I tried to get a program for editing on my PC and just could not get it done so I bought an iMac and wish I had done so earlier in my life. I had a tech on the phone with me and we could not get to an editing program. Maybe if you get Photo shop of Final Cut Pro it would work on a PC. It is just much easier to use a Mac for the HD. A PC works fine for the Go Pro Wide.
