Apple iPad Case Review

 

I am sure that everyone knows about the iPad and have already watched the countless reviews and demos of the device. Well Brian and I decided to take a look at iPad cases. We are starting with the standard black Apple iPad case. This case is made from a nylon material with a soft microfiber interior. It is very thin, lightwieght and easy to carry with reinforced panels for strength. This case allows you to fold both vertically and horizontally to hold your iPad for both viewing and typing. It also has all the proper holes for access to all the ports and switches etc.

I gave this Apple iPad case a look with Brian on video and while it was pretty functional we were not completely happy with the case. It was hard to stuff the iPad into and out of the case. To the point where we thought the case was going to break. Also this iPad case has a wierd flap build into it that we were not sure what to do with. Brian called it the iFlap. We are going to continue to shop around to find the perfect iPad case.

Does anyone know what the flap is for?

   The flap is uses to stabilize it when it’s in the horizontal position. Flap forward

   That is what I originally thought too, but it just didn’t provide any support while in either the horizontal or vertical position.

   Don’t u tuck the flap in behind the iPad so it won’t slip out?

   That’s possible, but it was difficult to tuck behind the device and then it would ultimately flap back out after a while.

   Really? The “iFlap” tucks right behind the iPad after it is placed in the case for a more secure fit. If it was easy to put in the case then it probably wouldn’t work right as the case would fall off. I give it 5 of 5 stars.

   Thanks for the comment James, it sounds like you have this case too since you gave it 5 stars. I hope you keep watching our site as we review some of the premium cases that are becoming available for the iPad. This however is far from 5 stars in my book.

   the flap tucks behind the ipad. the instructions are printed on the plastic film cover that the case was packaged in.
