The Functionality Blog is an online magazine for all the stuff that guys want or need. Basically, we strives to find the coolest products and services for our readers. From Gadgets to Sporting Goods to Office Products, Style Tips, Toys and even Food & Beverages. Kind of an online buying guide for men. We provide information, opinions and even product reviews.

I know that it is hard to shop on the Internet.

You cannot touch or feel the products online before you pull the trigger and make a purchase. I have worked in the eCommerce industry since 1998 and I would always tell my clients to write unique descriptions and provide added details or insight into the products that they sell. I would recommend that they provide images, videos, opinions and maybe a story now and then. You have to stand out from the crowd in order to be successful. This is exactly what we do here.

Boring products and stale information:

Most of the time I would see that sites would copy & paste the descriptions and images from the manufacture of the products. This would result in stale product listings, horrible search engine rankings and a site that would never stick out from the crowd. Go visit a couple of your favorite sites and take a look at the same product on multiple websites. I bet they are all very similar if not exactly the same. I bet you find mostly sales copy from the manufacture and the standard catalog images. No added details, no story, nothing unique, no opinion and worst of all no personality.

Our Concept:

The Functionality Blog is like an eCommerce site without the selling. We provide our own details, insight, humor and opinion on things. We hand select products from everywhere on the Internet. We are not limited or controlled by our suppliers. We can list the things that we like and pass on the things we don’t like it. Think of The Functionality Blog as a shopping guide that provides insight, humor and as many details on things without being boring. If you have a suggestion for a product please send it over. We are always looking for great products to showcase.

• Product Listings: We provide our unique take on things that we showcase. We hand select products from all around the Internet, but we also take suggestions from our readers. We want to build a community here, so feel free to send us product suggestions or anything that you want.
• Video Reviews: We provide detailed video reviews, so you can get a real feeling for what you are buying before you buy it.

If you wish to purchase one of the products that we showcase, we link you to sites that sell the products. We separate ourselves from the selling, although typically we will make an affiliate commission if you use our links when you make a purchase.
